Hockey Nova Scotia is proud to announce that Jamie Stone is the winner of our 2023 Lauchie MacIsaac Director’s Award

The Lauchie MacIsaac Director’s Award is named in honour of former branch president Lauchie MacIsaac and is presented annually to associations, leagues, or individuals that have achieved outstanding success in the administration of minor hockey during the past hockey season. Dedication, hard work and cooperation are the qualities that are used in determining winners of this award.

Since its inaugural season, Jamie has led the Nova Scotia U16 AAA Hockey League as president.

His tenure as president has included the many challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite the hurdles placed in front of him, Jamie worked with his league’s teams to ensure the success of each hockey campaign.

As president, the league has flourished under Jamie’s leadership and continues to grow and provide development opportunities for players throughout the province.

On behalf of everyone at Hockey Nova Scotia, we would like to congratulate Jamie Stone on receiving our 2023 Lauchie MacIsaac Director’s Award and thank him for his contributions to the game.
