Cole Kerr and Jack McKenna each scored second period goals to propel the St. John Knights to a close 2-0 victory over Nova Scotia`s Basin Armada in the final of the 2021-22 Monctonian. The Knights, who finished the round robin at 3-0, defeated the Moncton Thunderbirds 4-2 in one semi-final while Basin Armada thumped the Admirals 8-2 in the other semi-final. Sawyer Russell posted the shutout in the final while Jack Dulong, of Basin Armada, led all scorers with 7 points in the tournament.
